Chez Gerard, Covent Garden

Had a pre-theatre dinner before going to Royal Opera House for the x'mas special production - Nutcracker. Chose Chez Garard mainly because it's location. It locates right opposite Royal Opera House and a French frind strongly recommanded me this one. Since it's a French restaurant and is recommanded by a Frech, I thought I wouldn't go too wrong.

I was hangover from the night before and was starving and order my usual Confit de canard. It's not the best one I have had and it's not the worse I have had.

My friend ordered Boeuf Bourgulgnon another typical one. We are such in a rush, didn't really have time to order dessert, plus the ice cream from Royal Opera House is a must have. Dessert skipped.

The restaurant has a very nice terrace, so guess we will go back to visit it again when the weather is nice enough to allow us to sit outside and we will definitly make sure that next time we will have enough time to properly enough the pre-theatre supper.

Here is the bonus picture. It was a magical and it was probably the best ballet I have seen so far in my life!
